Copenhagen 26/8 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A statue-like, Kentaur character on the can in luminescent light blue.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a fine boozy, sweet odor of fermented tropical fruits mingling with a more subdued citric scent. Mango and papaya. Fermented decay. Citrus and grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A fine, not too boozy DIPA. Silken and flavorful.
