Copenhagen 13/10 2023. 40 cl from tap at Bootleggers Craft Beer Bar, Rantzausgade, Kbh. N.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a mild fruity and slightly fermented odor mingling with subtle citrus fruit. Peach and mango. Whiff of boozy decay. Grapefruit and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Discrete scent but delivers a fine bitter juice.
