Copenhagen 6/8 2023. 44 cl can from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Black and white photo of Amish pit with the name of the beer on a strip of brown tape on thecae. Very Metal.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow - almost orange. Mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Stable. Settles as a uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ripe Stone fruits mingling with a wilder, zesty scent of citrus. Mango and peach. Grapefruit and lime. Hints of resin.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for awhile. Finish is dry.
Quite zesty for a beer seemingly dedicated to moshing and metal.
