Copenhagen 26/3 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Mayan style rendering of weird green Demon on a orange background.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet slightly candy-like odor mingling with Christmas spice and earthy notes. Brown sugar, toffee and syrup. Cinnamon and vanilla. A bit of citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by medium strong spicy bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter laden with Christmas spice. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Spicy dark brew with a touch of Christmas.
