Copenhagen 27/3 2023. 44 cl can from N'Bro Kiosken. Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Black can with a barren landscape and a planet hovering in silver. Reminds me of a progressive record cover from the seventies.
Pours opaque hazy, pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a more distinct scent of citrus. Peach and pineapple. Grapefruit and resin.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, a bit creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong zesty bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a tart edge. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fine, tart and fairly intense Session IPA.
