Copenhagen 14/12 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. What looks like a futuristic structure seen from a cave in a green and a red version on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head- Settles as a thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with dark alcohol and sourish, bitter notes. Dark roasted malts, toffee, caramel and a bit of brown sugar. Raisins. Dark chocolate and licorice.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture. Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger dark bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. with a boozy sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
Nice and warming Baltic Porter.
