Copenhagen 23/5 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A placid lake on the can fragmenting into building blocks.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity and bit herbal odor mingling with tart citrus fruit. Sweet peach and mango. Whiff off licorice root. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. A little rough. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fine and well-balanced NEIPA with a bitter finish.
