Copenhagen 20/11 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black can with necrotic Christmas paraphernalia join red and green.
Pours opaque hazy yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of ripe Stone fruits mingling with tart citrus fruit.Peach and apricot soon overpowered by zesty citrus and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed ands balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
I do not understand much of the name which seems to be some kind of protest related to upcoming Christmas celebration. But it is a fine tart and bitter brew.
