The Ampersand single-hop series is all about expression. We created a balanced, medium-body New England base to best let the hops shine. Each beer, and each hop, has a distinctive personality.
Here a double-dry hop of Strata gives us dank, tropical notes of passionfruit and strawberry. Intense in aroma with a gentle spicy finish.

Copenhagen 27/5 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Purple can with an ampersand in liquid metal.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet fruity odor of tropical fruit mingling with potent citric notes. Peach, passion fruit and sweet berries. Lime and grapefruit. A hint of marijuana.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Quite multifaceted and diverse for a single hop IPA. Nice.
