Copenhagen 8/3 2025. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Very dark can with a little piece of artwork showing a U.F.O getting ready to leave.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized, dense, beige head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with dark alcohol and earthy fumes. Dark roasted malts, cocoa, brown sugar and toffee. Dark alcohol. Sour milk and a little bit of citrus.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, creamy, admit flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while, Finish is semi-dry with a touch of alcohol.
I would not leave if they served me this kind of beer.
