This year we celebrate the third iteration of our Christmas Stout, inspired by the warming flavours of Mexican cooking ingredients. We chose a blend of ingredients to create this luxurious stout, designed to keep you warm all through the festive period. A smooth and rich stout base is combined with plenty of coconut flakes, lots of tonka beans, a big scoop of cacao nibs and just enough habanero chilli to excite our taste buds and remind us of warmer days.

Copenhagen 5/12 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Dark can with what looks like two UFOs hovering in a red light. Looks a bot like a Chris Foss drawing.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, slightly sugary and malty odor mingling with earthy notes and a whiff of sweet alcohol. Dark toasted malts, toffee and caramel, Brown sugar, A bit cake-like. Leather. Liqueur.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium iron bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a streak of searing alcohol. Lingering. Finish is bitter dark chocolate.
I want my cake - even if it's bitter.
