Named after a distant coastal town whose beauty is whispered about in hushed tones, Iluka is more than just a beer — it is a tribute to the untamed wilderness of the Pacific and the spirit of adventure that courses through its misty-yellow veins.

Brewed with a blend of New Zealand hops from far-flung corners of the globe, this Pacific Pale Ale is a symphony of flavors that dances upon the palate like waves crashing upon a sandy shore. HBC 682 lends a subtle hint of pine and citrus, while Galaxy and Wakatu imbue the brew with notes of tropical fruit and delicate floral aromas.

Copenhagen 23/6 2024.44cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. What looks like some kind of hectic monster rampaging on a beach on a foreign planet on the can. Might be the Iluka.

Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles 0,2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with sweet odor of Stone fruit and sweet malts. Whiff of citrus. Floral notes. Sweet peach and pear. Citrus and lemon.

Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and tart. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.

Fresh and tart Pale Ale.
