This Brown Owl's rich & sweet malts lend notes of brown bread, nuts and toasted bread crusts to the aroma. These roasted malts also give you flavours of chocolate and caramel on a medium body, all balanced by a gentle bitterness.

Copenhagen 4/1 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Brown can with stylized owl features.
Pours almost clear maroon with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and toasted odor mingling with a light whiff of tart citrus. Caramel, toffee and toasted bread. Lemon and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fine toasted specimen with a healthy dose of citric hops.
