Arepo is a mixed fermentation sour beer and part of the Sator Square Series.
Using a sour beer base brewed with the help of our speciality house yeast, fresh nectarines were added to start a wild fermentation, giving this beer a new, spontaneous complexity.
Hand bottled in summer 2021, the beer then underwent the final stages of conditioning to bring it to life.
Released the summer of 2022, Arepo has now finally made it into your glass, offering you light funk and tartness, with fleshy stone fruit notes and a refreshing dry finish.

Copenhagen 10/2 2023. 37,5 cl bottle from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. A golden coin on an orange background on the label.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a tart citric scent. Whiff of funk and butter. Sweet apple - a bit cider-like. Tart gooseberries and lemon. Sour cheese. Butter.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a bit tart. A tad thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Decent and tart - but not without a bit of sweet fruit to lighten things.
