Copenhagen 21/8 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Verlandsgade, Kbh. S. A red clinched fist in front of a stylized sun on the can - communist propaganda style.
Pours opaque hazy golden orange with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a several cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with a strong, zesty yet dry scent of citrus fruit. Pineapple and mango. Grapefruit and lime. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed a balanced by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is a little thin. Bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A fine dry yet zesty Colab.
