Same hops, different coast. We have brewed a two part collaboration with our friends at Hyllie, a West Coast at their place and an East Coast at ours, both with the same New Zealand hops.

A double dry-hop of Motueka and Nelson Sauvin gives you notes of white grape, lemon and lime on top of a soft, light and hazy body.

Īta means East in Maori and the label features the white sands of the East coast of New Zealand. While the West Coast IPA brewed at Hyllie's side is called Wēta, meaning West, and the label features the black sands of the West coast of New Zealand.

Copenhagen 20/10 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Orange can with a simple drawing of a beach.

Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a id-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Stable. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of stone fruits mingling with a zesty scent of citrus fruit. Peach and mango. A whiff of something fermented. Citrus and grapefruit. Tart vibe.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.

Fresh and zesty take on a NZ Ipa.
