Brewed with the marvellous crew from Fanø Bryghus (DK). Expect classic Baltic Porter complexity, with raisin, caramel & lightly roasted malt sweetness.

Copenhagen 26/1 2026. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Black can with a bowling ball toppling some pins to underline the joke implied by the name of the beer.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head, Bubbly, Disappears after a 10 seconds. Leaving no trace of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with an odor of sweet dark malts mingling with alcohol and a light whiff of sour grains. Dark roast, caramel and toffee. A bit of brown sugar. Sweet liqueur.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, gentle tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and laced in licorice. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
A solid Baltic Poter even if I have to ignore the rather poor taste in humor when naming it.
