On our journeys to the brewery each day, we like to count the dogs we see; especially the ones we’d yoink home with us if we had less moral fibre. Since our team lives throughout Copenhagen, we pass a lot of cyclists on these journeys, cyclists on bikes, with baskets… Imagine the joy when we see a DOG in one of those baskets! Sets us up for the day. That’s the feeling we channelled while brewing our new Citra SIPA & we’re excited to share it with you.

Copenhagen 21/3 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Light blue can with an enthusiastic dog in a bicycle basket.
Pours opaque hazy yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Clinging t the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruit mingling with a more pronounced scent of tart citrus fruit. Sweet peach and nectarine. Citrus and grapefruit. Whiff of tart gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. A bit thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Cute but a bit thin.
