Copenhagen 6/5 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Orange can with an abstract rendering of a surfer besting a wave. Bringing my thoughts back to the seventies.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - pale yellow with a big white head. Stale. Settles as a 5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet odor of ripe stone fruits mingling with a sharp scent of citrus. Sweet melon and peach. Citrus and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. A bit tart. Aftertaste is bitter but a bit thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
A bit thin - but refreshing.
