Very pale straw yellow color. good clarity. quarter inch white frothy cap with decent retention. doughy malt character in the nose with medium-high smokiness. No hop aroma. Smoke is much more pronounced in the taste with the malt still being noticeable and mostly doughy. slight lemony hop bite counters the smokiness a bit. medium bodied and refreshing, very dry finish.
