We started with the traditional style for an unfiltered American Wheat, but as we always do, we found a way to add our local influence. A touch of Mayan orange peels sets this beer apart from other time-honored recipes for wheat ales. The combination is the perfect complement to the hot afternoons so common in the Yucatan jungle. In the glass is a cloudy beer with a creamy head. It begins very aromatic to the nose, literally inviting you to drink it. Fruity at first sip, yielding to the herbal citrus notes of the hops. The refreshing finish is ideal for beating the heat – be it in the jungle, by the pool, or at the beach!
