This DIPA pours beautifully. Gorgeous amber, with lacing remaining after a very small head. The nose hits you while pouring. It's tropical fruit.
The scent settles quite a bit after a couple of minutes.
The feel of the first sip is smooth and gentle, until you swallow and left with a strong, spicy finish. Besides the spice, I would be hard pressed to point to a particular flavour. Perhaps mango, but I am really trying here. The hops spice out everything else, but somehow it's not terrible.
