I've been very excited since Mark took over the helm at Oaken Barrel. He has been given us more styles, better consistency and this summer they are doing a new wheat beer each much this summer.
A: Pours a medium to dark murky brown color with a thin white head.
S: The nose wasn't a robust as I was hoping for, but I did get some smell of chocolate, clove, and very very faint banana
T: The flavor is very nice here. I get caramel and chocolate notes upfront with a very "wheaty" undertone and a touch of clove and spice in the background.
M: Very refreshing and coats the tongue and left wanting another drink.
D: I really enjoyed this. I hope they make this again next summer.
