Poured from a 330ml bottle into a tulip. No information on when it was brewed.
Look: Pours a clear golden amber with about 1 cm of fluffy head that very slowly recedes. Leaves some lacing.
Smell: I'm getting some sweetness straight up. Honey and biscuit. There is some hop in there, maybe a bit of citrus and peach, but i'm having to search for it.
Taste: The hop flavours are more pronounced when tasting. Stone fruit, a bit of citrus, something a little more tropical. The hop flavours aren't 'in your face' but are pronounced. Honey biscuit malts balance the hop out. Nice mellow bitterness at the end.
Feel: lighter bodied without being watery. has a decent length, but not too much.
Overall: I've had this beer a few times, and I like it. It is a little more balanced with the hops and malts than a lot of APAs.

One of the first batch, from Carwyn Cellars Thornbury. Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass.
L: A light/golden appearance, quite pale/straw coloured in the light.
S: Hops dominate, both pine and grapefruit/citrus, with some sweetness in the background.
T: Very hoppy for a pale ale. It's backed up by some sweet, almost biscuity malt but no doubt it's a hop forward beer with a dry and lingering, bitter finish.
F: Quite fine carbonation, a light creaminess, little lacing.
O: A very good beer, hoppy for a pale ale but not unbalanced and quite moreish.
