The West Coast style has never been accused of subtlety—it’s audacious, unruly, and it definitely doesn’t wait around for pleasantries. Unapologetic quantities of American and Kiwi hops deliver punchy floral aromas with notes of citrus, pine, and resin.

Poured from a 375ml can into a tulip glass. No packaged on date, just a best before.
Look: a dark golden colour, not hazy. Very little in the way of head, even when poured a little more vigorously, very quickly recedes to next to nothing.
Smell: A little floral up front, some general zesty smell and a little bit of pine. The nose is pretty subtle, the flavours, while pleasant, are not particularly strong.
Taste: like the smell. A little floral, a touch fruity, a bit more pine. It's all a bit reserved though.
Feel: good body, prickly carbonation increases drinkability. Bitterness hits the back of the palate, and the length is okay.
Overall: It's pretty drinkable, and would be easily smashed on a hot day, but as an IPA, it leaves me wanting more.
