Review from Marius is spot on. I also do not like the peat character very much. Though the beer is well done and I enjoy its smooth mouthfeel. Hoping for other barrels in this project.

Pitch black with no head, no matter how vigurously I pour. Peat smell, but toned down, unlike other beers aged in Islay barrels. You can feel dark cherries and cocoa in there, too. Tastes like peat, which is not really to my liking, but you can als feel some malty sweetness, smoke and sone dark fruit. Not my kind of beer but might be suitable for those who enjoy this type of barrel aging.
