The perfect summer ale, an IPA brewed with Pink Grapefruits. These grapefruits give the beer a wonderfully fresh flavor and a tangy bitterness of grapefruit.

Pours amber with a large head.
Nose shows dill and lemon custard Sorachi notes along with a hint of citrus zest.
More Sorachi hops as a flavour. Pretty clean otherwise, not much malt. Assertive bitterness.

33cl bottle. Semi-hazy amber pour with a thin off-white head. Smells like grapefruit, passion fruit, citrus hops and sugar. The taste is dominated by a bitter metallic note that pretty much hides anything else. Harsh and dry with a medium carbonation and a bitter finish.

Murky peach colored brew with fluffy white head. Aroma is a bit weird, reminds me of some wine barrel aged beers. Not really hoppy but it has some fruit notes that I can't really describe. Taste starts fruity and a bit sweet but also with a slight hint of tartness. Bitterness builds up more towards the aftertaste. Grapefruit notes are present more in the aftertaste than in the actual taste. Body is medium to heavy and carbonation is medium to low. Quite good overall but it has that weird off-taste and aroma that I associate with wine barrels. Except that, it's a nice, chewy and grapefruit-y beer.

This IPA is brewed with pink grapefruits. There is a good amount of sediment that seems to include not only yeast but also fruit residues. The brew is yellow with a pink hue to it. I smell mainly grapefruit pith. As the brew warms up, more fruity grapefruit esters come to mind. The flavor is also nicely grapefruit, whether it be from the Cascade hops or the actual grapefruit additions. It is interesting to taste the two next to each other and there seems to be a difference, mainly the fruitiness seems to originate from the actual grapefruit. Adequate body and carbonation.
A good fruity IPA for the grapefruit lovers.
