Got this one from the Duvel guy
From a bottle into a snifter
EBC: 150
EBU: 75
Imperial orange chocolate stout
APPEARANCE: Clear black pour yields a 1+ finger, medium looking, light tan head with great retention. Black body with no real carbonation. Head slowly fades to a half swirly wisp and leaves some lacing on the sides. Slight wisp remains leaving some dots of lacing as the glass empties.
SMELL: Roasted barley, sweet cream, some chocolate aromas, faint coffee and faint orange peel as well. The roasted and chocolate aromas are more dominant but the orange is there as well. Bold enough.
TASTE: Roasted and slightly burnt notes up front with coffee flavors, chocolate and touches of orange as well. A very burnt and bitter swallow with a bold and persistent finish of burnt and charred malts, bitter coffee, light chocolate and sweet cream with slight hints of orange peel. This is very bitter and burnt for sure. This kind of overwhelms the chocolate and orange peel.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy with enough weight, goes down fine and finishes a bit sticky. Lots of roasted bitterness lingers.
OVERALL: This was alright. The roasted and bitter character on this one really made it difficult to get anything else out of it. The chocolate was there a bit but the orange was a little far-fetched. Granted this wasn’t brewed yesterday but it’s still not ancient by any means. Kees does fantastic beer but I didn’t find this one to be anything worth writing home about.

Served in a chalice glass from the bottle here at Cerveceria Esparte in Conil, Spain.
Appearance: Deep brown-black body with a ligh tan head rising to maybe half a finger's length. Drops quick with sticky lacing to the glass of the brew.
Smell: Tangy coffee, and when I mean coffe I should be talking about coffee beans or espresso. Nice scent which comes off appetizing.
Taste: The brew first off comes off like espresso, the tangy citrus is light. You do feel the oranges or tangerine feel but the chocolate is where this brew delivers.
Mouth: Medium carbonation but super sticky.
Overall: Good brew, this orange chocolate experiment seems to have hit Europe and honestly I am very impressed. Almost a dessert brew, but for most best as a late night snack. Salud!

33cl bottle. Very dark brown with a thin espresso head. Roasted coffee and malts, dark chocolate, raw cocoa, licorice. Smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation and an aftertaste full of bitter chocolate. When it gets a little warm, the aroma really starts to unfold, with cherries, oak and whiskey notes.
