Copenhagen 28/1 2018. 33 cl bottle from Kioskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Chaotic looking label in black and yellow communicating that this is both "craft" and "pure".
Pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as a thin almost transparent layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is pretty strong, fresh and fruity. Sweet and exotic fruit mingling with bitter citric odors. Peach and mango meeting a shitload of grapefruit. Intense without the high ABV coming through.
Rather strong carbonation and medium thick soft palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by strong and distinct bitterness. Aftertaste is heavy bitter with a little booziness peeking through. Finish is dry.
Pure juicy pleasure meeting heavy bitter booziness. Nice one from Middelburg.

Terrifically aromatic, just explosive with fruity tropical hops and some danker notes. Taste follows nose closely. Moderate bitterness, somewhat in the New England mold. This unfiltered beer is however, inexcusably thick with Hop material; there was nearly a tablespoon of green sludge at the bottom of each of two glasses we poured. I want beer, not trub, would prefer not to eat slimy hop chunks. If poured through a mesh strainer I suspect the issue would have been very much alleviated.
