Copenhagen 31/3 2020. 33 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgård Webshop. Plain white label stating the name, beer name and Barrel project number.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweet and boozy with sharp bitter notes. Brown sugar, leather, tobacco. Light notes of coffee. Prominent presence of dark, sweet, boozy alcohol.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, soft, smooth, creamy texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness and a medoium strong lightly sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a prominent presence of alcohol. Lingering. Sweet, boozy finish.
Powerful, barrel-aged bruiser which I can taste for the next hour.
