Pours a ruddy apricot/orange with visible clumps of sediment that quickly settle to the bottom. Head quickly dissipates, with a thin rim clinging to the edge of the glass. Looks like a glass of apricot nectar!
Aroma has some light stone fruit and peach.
Taste generally follows the aroma with less-than-expected bitterness, and grapefruit and orange peel undertones after the swallow.
Mouthfeel is full and pleasant and adds to the apricot nectar perception.
All in all a nice beer but lacking the hoppy punch expected of a double IPA.
