The colour of the liquid is pitch black, with no transparency. The dark brown head is moderately high and quickly dissipates to a thin ring. Almost every tilt of the snifter causes the foam to "float" on the glass.
The aroma is very intense, roasted, coffee-like, with notes of dark chocolate, cocoa and hints of nuts.
The taste is slightly sweet with a roasted, coffee-like bitterness. The bitterness is distinct, long and "dry".
The alcohol is slightly noticeable. The body is high and full. The texture of the liquid is oily, smooth and "slippery". The aftertaste is long, dry, coffee-like and roasted.
