Last bier of my 2025 trip, enjoyed at in de Wildeman in Amsterdam on 01OCT25. This 0.33l can set me back €13.50. Pricey, but WTF, Gus! Collab with Blackout Brewing.
Poured a clear, dark chestnut color. Had no head or lacing to speak of, perhaps due to the 14.8% ABV... Aroma had some dark fruit and brown sugar notes. Solidly medium in body, plus it was fairly smooth on the tongue.
Flavor presented lots more dark fruit - raisins, dates, black cherry, plus notes of caramelized brown sugar. A solid brew to finish up the trip with! Cheers!!
