This barley wine was aged for 27 months in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels and offers a powerful, full-bodied mouthfeel. The rich bourbon notes blend with caramel, vanilla, and subtle woody tones, creating a deep, complex flavor. An impressive beer for those who appreciate strength, warmth, and character.

Can purchased and drank at Bierproeflokaal In de Wildman in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
This one pours a golden caramel brown color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like toasty and spicy oak, sweet caramel, a touch of chocolate, sweet bourbon, maple, and brown sugar.
This tastes strong, powerful, and wonderful, a really good barrel aged barleywine. There’s lots of barrel, adding burnt brown sugar, vanilla, oak, and bourbon, and it’s all on top of a nice caramelly and chocolatey barleywine base.
This is creamy, a little bit warming but not super boozy, with a nice drinkability for the style.
I’ve heard that Kees has a really nice barrel program, and this confirms that for sure.
