For the hophead in all of us, this light colored beer has just enough malt backbone to carry the copious amounts of hops, providing bitterness and big hoppy aroma.

Javelina
Rockingham Brewing Comp... IPA - American
Harkens back to a time when IPA meant earthy bitterness, dry leafy bite forward with a solid malty backbone of amber malts. The El Dorado has a nice, spicy hop bite with a peppery finish and leathery caramel malt balance. Muskhogs must love this one.

Poured on draft at The Union Diner into a pint glass. Pours a very attractive bright orange with a two inch sticky white head that leaves rings of lace behind.
Smell is apricot, biscuit, earthy floral hops, pine, and grapefruit.
Taste follows floral and tropical upfront, with a little biscuit, and finishes with piney grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is about medium, plenty of carbonation, not dry at all, and drinks very easy.
Overall this is a very good IPA, that now that it is coming in 6 packs I will seek it out.

Nice balance between an English and American style IPA. Fairly juicy hop taste, with a nice biscuity malt base. More tropical than piney. Beautiful orange amber with amazing head retention.
