As our lightest offering, Curly’s combines a subtle malt sweetness with soft bready wheat, which finishes dry making this flavorful beer go down easy.

It’s a very good light beer. I can’t really say anything terrible about it. It’s good and something you bring to parties that everyone will enjoy.

I thought it could be even lighter somehow maybe so that is the reason for my score...

12 oz. Can.

A bubbly, pale gold color. Dense, high rising cap of crystal white.
The aroma is a heady combo of sweet bready malt, earthy, funky wheat, corn and some green grassy tones.
A smooth, then crips bite of pale, light malt, slightly sweet, like corn from the can, dry wheat, and subtle herbal hop. Amazingly refreshing and bright feel, good depth to the wheat and the malt comes across as a light pale ale effect. Really nice balance with no banana or clove taste that some wheat ale's have.
A very "clean" taste and feel. With decent depth of flavor from the malt and wheat. Slightly herbal aftertaste.

Bought from the source in a nice big ol' half-off growler.

L- Like a wheat beer, pale gold, a bit hazy, minimal head. (4)

S- Like a wheat beer! Sweet wheat, minimal noble hop presence. (3.5)

T- Typical wheat, sweet malts, very tart finish. Again, minimal hop flavor/presence, refreshingly light body. Some fruity notes in there as well. Nice summer brew! (3.5)

F- Again, wheat beer. Light, refreshing, this is definitely going to be a great summer brew after a long day in the sun. (3.5)

O- Overall, not a bad brew. Very straightforward, unchallenging summer wheat beer and that is not a bad thing! (3.5)

From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on April 21, 2015.

Hazy pale yellow pour underneath a huge, foamy white head. It fades some.

The aroma is a lovely wheat and slight citrus character with a vague grassy hop note.

Light to medium body,

The taste is slightly sweet with those toasted pale malts and wheat leading up to a mildly bitter finish. It's a nicely done wheat,

Bottle from Bert's
Hazy light golden color with a huge frothy bone white head that persists forever. Sweet honey like malty bubblegum aromas dominate the nose with a fair amount of spice and light earthy hop to counter. Pretty clean sweet spicy cereal and wheat malt flavors. Medium to light body with a moderate level of carbonation. Great lawnmower beer maybe out a bit early for that though. This should be in a six pack though, There is no reason a 5.1% American wheat should be in a bomber retailing at north of 7 bucks.
