Bottle from the brewery.
Pours a fairly clear dark brown/black color with a bubbly tan head that shows great retention. Aromas of pumpkin spices offset with some roasty, chocolate, and earthy notes, but the spice is up front and intense. The flavor holds a bit more caramel light chocolate and roast with plenty of the aforementioned pie spices. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation. I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin beers, but I try them every year hoping to figure out what all the fuss is for. This one isn't bad I could drink a pint or two if I had too. ;)

From the 650 ml. bottle brewed in September 2016. Sampled on October 15, 2016. I added this beer and was not sure what style to assign to it. It is actually a Pumpkin Stout that is brewed in collaboration with a New Hampshire restaurant with a lot of beer on tap.
The pour is nearly jet black with a moderate tan head. Opaque.
The aroma emits a strong sweet dark roasted malt character of a sweet stout with a more subtle pumpkin spice character. Low to no hop profile.
The body is about medium.
The cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin spices show up more grandly in the flavor but this still emphasizes the the dark sweet and slight bitter coffee malt character of a stout. A nice distraction from the other pumpkin ales out there.
