On tap at Cask and Vine Wed.
Lightly hazy deep auburn in color with a thin off white head that quickly recedes. Earthy and spicy nose and flavor. Caramel and brown sugary maltiness counter nicely.

I picked up a couple of vintage bottles of this yesterday at the Brewery. Each 750ml bottle cost $18, they were bottled on 01NOV17, and check in at 10.7% ABV. Getting into one now while watching some college football.
It's a somewhat opaque, tawny, russet brown color. Has some light beige foam clinging to the edges with a wispy covering in the center. Lacing is rather light, all in all. Aroma is somewhat in the english BW style, with some solid malty notes wafting about. There's also some light, woody gin action. It does not rough up the tongue much, and the body is solidly medium.
Flavor has some more nice malty aspects. There's a bit of caramel and toffee along with suggestions of pear and green apple. It has a bit of a piney, resinous lean to it as well, with hints of gin lurking in the shadows. The finish rounds out with a touch of floral hopping and a suggestion of wood and vanilla. Solid! Prosit!
