Many thanks to SawDog505 for this can.

A - Pitch black pour with very thin toffee colored lacing.

S - Some slight booziness, chocolate, creme, bready yeast.

T - Bready chocolate yeast, some light smokiness, creme, some Belgian spiciness on the back end.

M - Full bodied and viscous.

O - Smells better than it tastes, unfortunately. I'll definitely revisit this one again for the benefit of a doubt.

Can from the brewery, thanks for the mule services Dr Rob!
Solid black in color with a thin mocha head that dissipates almost instantly. Chocolate and caramel dominated the nose. Milk chocolate with a hint of brown sugar and spicy earthy Belgian yeastiness. Decent desert beer.

Poured into a 13 oz Tired Hands Teku glass canned on 2/14/18 and with 6.8% ABV. Pours a very dark brown with a dark tan head that leaves plenty of lace.

Smell is Belgian Candied sugar, cocoa, coconut, clove, vanilla, and toffee.

Taste follows Belgian up front with clove, candied sugar, caramel and finishes with chocolate, vanilla, and toffee.

Mouthfeel is a little bigger than medium, plenty of life, maybe a little dry, and goes down easy enough at 6.8% ABV.

Overall this is nice, would prefer if it didn’t have the Belgian yeast, but still a nice and different stout.
