Visited The Rock last eve with Alewife and daughter Caitlin... Had a 12oz pour of this, a 2018 version, for $9.00.
Small tulip held a lovely-colored brew. It was a clear, deep copper/amber color, with light carbo. Had a fine, creamy, light beige head which lasted well, and left solid lacing. Aroma had noteworthy amounts of vanilla and bourbon. It was a medium to medium-plus, and quite smooth on the tongue.
Flavor had light maltyness, caramel, butterscotch, plus more bourbon and vanilla. The bourbon aspect lingered quite well on the palate, and this was a definite belly-warmer. Solid! Prosit!!
