Thought sure I had reviewed this, as it's been out since last year... ahhh reckon not, so here we go.... enjoying out in The 'Zebo. From a 0.5l bottle from The Lazy Dog, at $13.50.....
Pours a clear, rich, medium golden.... has light carbo, a thin, fine, white head, and decent lace. Aroma has the typical light, biscuity malt and pale green fruit, plus some bourbon notes. The feel is mostly prickle-free, with a solid medium body.
Taste has some crackery, bready malt action going on, with light sweetness. Then throw in the typical and required pale, green fruit - pear, green apple, and perhaps some mango. The whole time this is going on you have some lovely bourbon notes hitting the palate... oh, this is sooo nice! Rockingham rocks!!! Prosit!
