Three Headed Dragon is an expert blend of our best vintages of Bourbon Barrel & Tequila Barrel Aged Three Little Pigs and Red Dragon. This 11.3% Belgian Strong Ale is perhaps our most beautiful (& certainly most limited) beer to date.

From a 0.5l bottle, number 30 of 60, secured on its' release day at The Rock, 20FEB23.... Cost was $16.00...
Poured at about 50°F into one of my sniftahs, it's a clear, dark mahogany/chestnut color. Has some scattered, steady carbo rising within and a very thin layer of foam. The head dissipates rapidly, leaving some fine, light tan suds at the rim. Leaves a bit of light lacing on the glass. In the nose I can pick up notes of both red wine (Red Dragon) and tequila (Tequila Pigs). Also has some dark fruit, like prunes and dates. It is quite smooth on the tongue, and has a body somewhere between medium and medium-plus.
The flavor is a mix of the 3 biers blended together, naturally. There's the dates, raisins and prunes, plus red wine, from Red Dragon predominantly. Has some light notes of pear and green apple from the 2 Three Little Pigs variants. I can get a smidge of tequila in the background, but am having a hard time picking up any of the bourbon action. The finish is dry, with some Candi sugar and more vinous notes. A solid blend of 3 tasty brews..... Prosit!
