The appearance was a mostly dark brown close to black color with a half finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a moderate pace. Light stringy lace. The aroma had a huge amount of milk chocolate and vanilla sweetness. Light nutty toast in the background. The flavor was exceptionally sweet all of the way through. Same sort of aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this was almost medium bodied, seemed just a tad under. Good carbonation. ABV felt fine. Damp milk chocolate sweetness along my tongue. Overall, if you like drinking a Hershey’s chocolate bar and someone threw in some Nutella on toast, yes, this is your best bet of drinking an adult version of that. Not sure where the maple supposedly was in this, still solid.
