On tap at the brewery taproom in N. Vancouver B C.
Amber body with a decent white head. Mild aroma with more hops than cucumber. This is reversed in the flavor: The flavor has moderate strength flavor and tartness for style, with a load of cucumber flavor.
Overall. Recommended.

355ml can - I do like the cool dude cuke on the label, but can you actually 'dryhop' a brew with cucumbers?
This beer pours a slightly hazy, pale golden yellow colour, with three flabby fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and somewhat fizzy off-white head, which leaves a bit of random streaky lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.
It smells of a generic earthy tartness, gritty and grainy cereal malt, vegetal cucumber skins, and very little else. The taste is grainy and crackery pale malt, a minor lacto sourness, some watery green vegetable notes (cucumber, sure), ethereal domestic citrus rind, and once again, yeah, nothing further to report, I'm afraid.
The carbonation is fairly low-key in its anemic frothiness, the body a so-so medium weight, and generally smooth, with a surprising airy creaminess arising as things warm up a tad around here. It finishes off-dry, the base malt, well-faded sourness, and yup, cuke sugar content keeping the lights on for just a while longer.
Overall - going in, I would not have thought that I'd be saying this, but there's actually more cucumber essence in this offering than anything particularly sour. Light, flavourful (if simply so), and quite refreshing, to be honest. Good stuff!
