355ml can, another 12-pack from the Real Canadian Liquor Store - an appropriately named brew for the results of this week's federal election, eh?

This beer pours a clear, pale copper amber colour, with three fingers of puffy, thinly foamy, and mostly just fizzy dirty white head, which leaves a bit of remote island speck lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.

It smells of semi-sweet, gritty corn mash, nail polish remover, week-old bread, and a sort of stanky hop bitterness. The taste is grainy, lightly doughy corn bread, mildly phenolic yeast, a wan muddled pale orchard fruitiness, and more rather weak earthy and dead leafy hoppiness.

The carbonation is good and punchy in its grab your palate frothiness, the body a so-so medium weight, and pretty pithy and clammy in its laughable attempt at smoothness. It finishes off-dry, the corn-led malt wavering just a tad, while an uncertain cleaning product astringency mulls about.

Yup, bottom of the barrel Canadian red ale, is what we have here, folks. I guess that I shouldn't be expecting much more, not for just north of a single loonie per can. Anyways, PC Honey Red isn't overtly bad, it just grows on you as such, and starts to seem that way after 'less than much', as my toddler is prone to saying of late.
