Recommended because it's cheap as all fuck. Good quality for the low price.

355ml can - a single from my local liquor chain outlet, which is always a minor score, amirite? So, a 'session IPA', above 5%. Way to get it, once again, Big Rock!
This beer pours a clear, medium copper amber colour, with two fingers of puffy, chunky, and bubbly dirty white head, which leaves a bit of low-lying streaky and sudsy lace around the glass as it quickly sinks out of sight.
It smells of bready and doughy caramel malt, muddled domestic citrus rind, a none-too-subtle earthy yeastiness, and some plain leafy, weedy, and piney green hops. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, a well-faded caramel sweetness, some still extant yeasty esters, bland generic citrus pith, and more wan leafy, weedy, and dead floral 'verdant' hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly timid in its barely-there frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and more or less smooth, with nothing really getting in the way of a swell time here. It finishes trending dry, and very difficult to muster up any enthusiasm about.
Overall - this comes across as par for the course for this down-market part of Big Rock's operating structure - a wee bit hoppy, but rather plain and unassuming at the same rate. Yeah, ok to slam if y'all wanna celebrate whatever it is you be winning, but for actual IPA flavour, move on, people, move on.

355ml can poured into tulip.
Pours a clear medium copper with one skinny finger of beige head that leaves blobs of dripping lace as it recedes.
Smells of sweet bready caramel malt, bitter citrus and pine hoppiness.
Tastes of more sweet brown bread, lightly sugared grapefruit and mild leafy, resiny hops.
Feels light and mild. Medium bodied with frothy carbonation. Finishes off-dry.
Verdict: Recommended. Not that great, but for the price you could do a lot worse.
