I tried a pint this beer off the tapper at Moxie's in Calgary, Alberta Canada. It poured a clear amber with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent and taste has subtle malt and grain presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body. Overall it is a great beer.

Reviewed from old notes. Pint at Moxies.
Pours a medium copper with half a finger of off white head that leaves some toothy lace as it recedes.
Smells of honeyed biscuit, dried apple, bready caramel malt and some leafy, weedy hops.
Tastes of more drizzled honey biscuits, sweet bread, apple chips and more leafy hops.
Feels soft and smooth. Medium bodied with frothy carbonation. Finishes off-sweet.
Verdict: Recommended. Good with a sandwich.

Sweet, malty, pronounced grain. Drinkable, but unremarkable. However, pretty good for a house brew in a chain restaurant. Those types of brews are usually poor efforts or just outright wretched.

14 oz on tap at a Moxie's restaurant in Ontario.
The restaurant lighting was dim, but I tried my best to determine the colour anyway. When I held it up to the table light, I could see a deep ruby red. By the time it was served to me, there was little head. Less than a finger.
Faint odour. Semi smoky? Citrus? I might even say it smelled like leather (not in a bad way).
Taste: A very nice, gentle, mild bitterness. This may be a turn-off for some, but it was very much towards my preferred end of the bitterness scale. I wouldn't call it necessarily sweet, though. Not a lot of character or depth or facets to the taste, but whatever single predominant amber-beer flavour was there, I liked a fair bit. So, while you're not going to send your taste buds through an adventure with this beer, the taste still appealed to me. Went just fine with the burger I was having.
Mouthfeel-wise, it was thin, with a moderate tingle of carbonation.
Quite a nice beer overall. Certainly the beer I like the most among the choices available on the Moxie's beer menu, and I'd be happy to order it again every time I visit a Moxie's.

Dark amber appearance with minimal head. Smell is minimal, picked up caramel and toffee though.
Taste is much like the smell, toffee and caramel. Picked up malt and bread as well. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Aftertaste is malty and bitter.
Overall, Not bad. Darker and favorable but drinkable, although the bitterness at end hurts it. Worth a try if your at Moxies.
