A pint at the Original Joe's location in Abbotsford, BC.
This beer appears a crystal clear pale straw colour, with a thin cap of fizzy white head, which wisps away in a lazy blink of an eye, leaving very little that could be considered lace. It smells of thin grainy malt, and soapy, weedy hops. The taste is more light grain, stale lemon, and weak dead flower hops. The carbonation is moderate, the body light, a bit watery, and zippy. It finishes with a slight uptick of a musty, earthy nature.
Inoffensive, mostly, as is the norm for the style, with a bit more going on than the 'big' light lagers out there.
