341 ml bottle served cold and poured into a pint glass. Thanks to Claudia and Kevin for the gift. Bottle appearance is the same as Cameron's lager, however there's a sticker indicating that it was brewed with orange zest.
Appearance - Translucent golden colored beer, with a decent amount of bubbles. A thin half finger of white head is poured but dissipates very quickly.
Smell - Light grains, mineral aspect and a hint of the orange zest. Nose isn't too big either.
Taste - Pretty good with clean flavors, grains, mineral water and just enough of that orange zest to make it unique and pretty damn tasty.
Mouthfeel - Smooth, highly carbonated makes this a bit gassy, but otherwise drinkable enough.
Overall - A pretty solid alteration to an already good beer, adding orange zest livens up the fruity nature of this beer and provides for a little more tart bitterness. Hoping this may make an appearance to a larger distribution network, since lager fans looking for a little extra could certainly enjoy this easy to drink lager.
