Brief impressions from a 33cl brown glass bottle reviewed in Kuopio, Finland:
A: Obviously overcarbonated, with a fizzy aggressive head that fills the majority of the glass. Off-white in colour, it recedes within 4 minutes.
Body is a clear pale copper. It's not vibrant at all, but what's worse is it's clear - not hazy, which is an essential characteristic in a beer of this style. Looks like a bad kristallweizen at best.
Sm: Wheat. Vague floral hops. In terms of yeast, all I get is a hint of clove.
Underwhelming, shallow, and simple.
T: Flaked wheat. Barley. A hint of clove. That's it.
As simple and shallow as they come. Underwhelming.
Mf: Overcarbonated almost to the point of being biting. Smooth, wet, medium-bodied. Not soft or creamy. Doesn't suit the taste particularly well, and fails to elevate the beer as a whole.
O: A forgettable unremarkable wheat beer with no stand-out characteristics. It's drinkable, sure, but I wouldn't bother with it again, and it's an underwhelming beer in its style. Certainly below average.
